About the Competition

The world is changing in many, many ways.
But how is this actually affecting us now, right here in Lincoln?
That’s what we would like your help to document.

Our photography theme is ‘Lincoln in a Changing Climate’, and we would like you to think about the effects of Climate Change on Lincoln (and on the people of Lincoln).

Entries could be simply documenting the weather (anyone else seen a particularly heavy downpour, this year?), and how things are changing and/or extreme effects. However, we are also interested in photos which show what people are doing to adapt to the changes.
What are people doing to build resilience, to cope with the effects of the changing weather and temperature? Perhaps some people are suffering from the heat. Perhaps others are loving it.
You could document high temperatures (which are looking probable!), or even unseasonably low temperatures. It could be about the impacts on the city, on the people, on the wildlife -or perhaps even something which you have noticed which we haven’t thought of, yet.

To Include With Your Entry

Before you start taking photos, not only will we want your name (of course!) but we will also want you to indicate things like where and when the photo was taken, and why- in your opinion – this reflects/highlights Climate Change in Lincoln. Don’t forget to make a note, when you take your photos!
