Food is a powerful way to bring healing to the everyday – it connects us to the planet, nature & also to one another.
Local connection is a powerful way to bring resilience to communities & helps to make planet friendly choices more accessible – reducing transport needs, keeping waste circular & putting welfare & equity at the heart of decisions.
#ChooseLocal Food
Get Involved – What Can You Share?
When it comes to tackling climate change there’s no cookie-cutter solution. But we firmly believe that there’s a wealth of knowledge that exists right here, throughout our communities in Lincoln, and that between us we’re already aware of many hundreds of tiny, positive steps that could be taken everyday.
Perhaps you know where to buy food from local producers, how to make good use of food waste, or have a favourite seasonal recipe.
Our #ChooseLocal Food campaign encourages you to share wise words, tips & stories with your friends & community.
You can also share wider via social media – Follow & tag us on Instagram HERE.

Resources For Community
We’ve created a resource to spark curiosity and conversation, all on the theme of food.
It’s a perfect tool to use within groups for discovering small steps to positive change together.
These resources are available without charge and we can even pop along and help you to get the most out of them within a group setting in Lincoln.
Want to bring them to your group?
Send us message and we’ll send some your way.
More to Come!
